Huế ranked as top destination in The Times travel feature

The British newspaper The Times has featured a list titled ‘11 of the most beautiful places in Vietnam (and how to see them)’, placing the city of Huế at the top of its recommendations. Travel writer Joshua Zukas highlighted the city's unique identity, noting its combination of historic imperial architecture, lush greenery, and scenic riverfront landscapes.

The list encompasses a diverse range of Vietnamese destinations, including historical urban centers, northern mountainous regions, tropical forests, and coastal islands. Other featured locations include Hanoi, My Son Sanctuary, Sa Pa, Hoang Su Phi, Cao Bang, Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Son Tra Peninsula, Cat Tien, the coastline from Quy Nhon to Phan Rang, and Con Dao.

In addition to Huế, the report describes the vibrant street life of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and the terraced landscapes of Sa Pa and Hoang Su Phi. Cao Bang was also recognized for its limestone terrain and landmarks such as Ban Gioc Waterfall.
