Hualien to host Moon-Met Indigenous Voices Concert

Hualien, Taiwan, will host the 2026 Moon-Met Indigenous Voices Concert on September 26 and 27 at Dongdamen Square. The event features a diverse lineup of international performers, including NIEL from the Korean boy band TEEN TOP, Ryukyuan singer Aisa Senda from Japan, Indigenous singer Sheron Tan from Malaysia, and Hong Kong singer William So.

The concert aims to promote sustainable tourism and celebrate Taiwan’s Indigenous cultural heritage alongside K-pop, Mandopop, and Austronesian music. The event will be held in conjunction with an Indigenous-themed market, offering visitors access to local night market food and traditional handicrafts.

Located on Taiwan’s east coast near Taroko National Park, Hualien is positioning itself as a destination for international travelers through a series of international-themed events scheduled for the second half of the year.
