Huamantla teenager killed in shooting during youth brawl

A teenager between the ages of 16 and 17 died following a shooting during a brawl in the Ignacio Zaragoza community of Huamantla, Tlaxcala. The incident occurred on the night of Saturday, August 22, on Emiliano Zapata Street.

According to initial reports, a confrontation between several youths escalated into gunfire, leaving three individuals injured. The teenager was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his wounds upon arrival. Two other youths remain hospitalized in delicate condition.

Authorities from the Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de Tlaxcala have processed the scene. Witnesses have identified a man, Carlos N., as the alleged shooter, though his identity has not been officially confirmed and he remains at large. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fight and identify the perpetrator.
