Huancayo Plaza Constitución faces delivery delays

The Plaza Constitución de Huancayo has not been officially handed over to the Huancayo Provincial Municipality, despite the expiration of the scheduled grace period. Although civil works were completed over a month ago, the executing company is still performing tasks in certain areas, preventing the formal reception of the infrastructure.

Councilman Elio Laureano reported that the grace period, originally intended to last 15 days, has extended beyond expectations. Pending interventions include modifications to restrooms and addressing observations made by the Ministry of Culture. Additionally, the municipality must train technical staff to operate the plaza's pumping systems and other components before it can assume full administration of the public space.
