Huang Jian returns to GAC Toyota as Executive Vice General Manager

Huang Jian, the current president of Trumpchi BU, has officially returned to GAC Toyota to serve as Executive Vice General Manager. As the Chinese-side lead in the joint venture, his appointment is part of a management adjustment by GAC Group to strengthen organizational capabilities.

With 28 years of experience at GAC Group, Huang previously managed procurement, finance, and production at GAC Toyota, where he played a key role in the company’s transition to new energy vehicles. His leadership was noted during the development of models like the Bozhi 3X, which achieved significant sales milestones.

This leadership change occurs alongside GAC Group’s strategic move to acquire a 50% stake in FAW Toyota. This acquisition aims to foster synergy between the northern and southern Toyota joint ventures in China, optimizing R&D, supply chains, and production to enhance competitiveness in the evolving automotive market.
