Huawei adds free keyboard skins and instant game launch to HarmonyOS

Huawei announced that its Huawei Theme membership now includes free access to a range of input‑method skins, allowing members to download and use keyboard themes without additional charges. The offering covers styles such as simple, dreamy and flashy designs, as well as IP‑linked themes like the Vocaloid‑themed skin.

In a separate update, Huawei released HarmonyOS 7 with a new "game instant start" feature. The feature lets supported games, including Genshin Impact and Rock Kingdom, launch directly to the login screen, dramatically reducing load times compared with standard cold starts. Both updates are part of Huawei’s broader effort to enhance personalization and performance within its HarmonyOS ecosystem.
