Huawei advances intelligent driving with low-speed AEB and active suspension

Huawei is advancing its intelligent driving capabilities through new safety and chassis technologies. Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, highlighted the technical challenges of Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) in ultra-low-speed scenarios. Unlike high-speed braking, low-speed AEB must contend with minimal braking redundancy and complex obstacles like bollards or low walls. To address this, Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5.0 aims for 'all-speed' safety, extending forward AEB effectiveness down to 1km/h and lateral collision prevention to 10km/h, supported by high-precision solid-state LiDAR.

Simultaneously, the AITO M9 has been announced to feature the Huawei Tuling Longxing platform. This includes an optional 800V fully active suspension system designed to suppress vehicle body vibration even on difficult road surfaces. New flagship features for the AITO M9 Ultimate include interactive capabilities where the vehicle responds to user gestures, and immersive modes such as '5D cinema' and 'dynamic racing' that allow the vehicle body to move in synchronization with on-board media and games.
