Huawei and HONOR announce new tablets and audio devices

Huawei has unveiled the MatePad Pro 12 at IFA 2026, featuring a 12-inch Flexible OLED PaperMatte display with a resolution of 3,036 x 1,952 pixels and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. The device is designed for productivity with a 4.7 mm ultra-thin metal unibody and a 10,400 mAh battery supporting 66W SuperCharge. Additionally, Huawei introduced the FreeBuds Neo, which offer 30 dB of active noise cancellation and support for high-resolution lossless audio.

In a separate product launch, HONOR introduced the Pad 20 and Pad 20 Pro tablets. Both models feature 12.1-inch 3K displays and a 10,100 mAh battery. The standard Pad 20 utilizes a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the Pad 20 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip and offers an adaptive refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. The Pro model is positioned as a PC alternative, supporting a desktop-style interface through its PC mode when paired with a Bluetooth keyboard.
