Huawei and Inspur Data receive major technology awards in China

Huawei has announced that its Ascend 950 supernode has been awarded the 2026 World Internet Conference Leading Technology Award. The Ascend 950 is recognized as a large-scale commercial supernode utilizing a self-developed Lingqu interconnection protocol. It supports configurations of 128 to 1024 NPUs, providing a computing foundation for large-scale AI models with trillion-parameter capacities.

Additionally, the Heterogeneous Computing Power Platform Laboratory, supported by Inspur Data (IDT SYSTEM), has received the 2026 IDC China Future Enterprise Award as a leader in digital intelligence infrastructure. The project, involving Huaneng Shandong, focuses on the unified management and scheduling of diverse domestic CPU and GPU architectures to support AI applications within the energy sector.
