Huawei and Mechanical Revolution launch new laptops in China
Huawei is preparing a successor to its MateBook Fold, aiming to lower costs while keeping a foldable screen. Leaked details show three colour options – Flowing Gold, Sky White and Phantom Black – and three RAM/storage configurations (24 GB/512 GB, 24 GB/1 TB, 32 GB/2 TB). The device will use a Kirin X9 series processor and is slated for release in the second half of the year.
Mechanical Revolution unveiled the Wing Dragon 15 Air, a thin‑and‑light gaming notebook built around AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU. Weighing 1.5 kg and measuring 18.75 mm thick, it features a 240 Hz OLED panel, 32 GB LPDDR5X memory and a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD, priced at 11,499 yuan. An Intel‑based counterpart is also planned for the BW2026 showcase.
