Huawei develops compact, affordable Nova Flip foldable

Huawei is reportedly developing a new compact and more affordable clamshell-style foldable smartphone within its Nova series. According to leaks from Fixed Focus Digital via Weibo, the device is expected to be smaller than the Nova Flip S.

While official specifications regarding the processor, cameras, battery, and screens have not been disclosed, the device is positioned to target the entry-level and mid-range segments of the foldable market. The new model, which may be named the Nova Flip 2, is anticipated to arrive before the end of 2026, following the release patterns of the original Nova Flip in August 2024 and the Nova Flip S in October 2025.
