Huawei faces smartwatch criticism and price cuts

Huawei is facing criticism regarding the data visualization of its heart rate variability (HRV) metrics in the Huawei Health app. Users have noted that the app provides a wide monthly range—for example, 12 to 110 ms—which fails to show meaningful physiological trends. Critics argue that this method makes it impossible to determine where most measurements fall, unlike competitors like Garmin that provide more actionable data.

Separately, the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is seeing significant price reductions, currently listed at 33% below its official retail price. The device features an AMOLED display and an integrated GPS. A key improvement in this model is its battery life, which has increased to 21 days for the 46mm version, compared to 14 days in the previous GT 5 Pro model.
