Huawei introduces Hyperspace Storage for HarmonyOS 7

Huawei has introduced Hyperspace Storage, a new storage management technology integrated into HarmonyOS 7. The feature is designed to automate the process of identifying and reorganizing or discarding unnecessary data, such as temporary files and caches, to optimize internal storage usage.

During the testing phase of HarmonyOS 7, Huawei stated that the technology could recover up to 109 GB of storage on certain devices equipped with 1 TB of capacity. By integrating these management tools directly into the operating system, the technology aims to reduce the need for users to perform manual maintenance or use external cleaning tools.
