Huawei launches Pura 90s Pro Max 200MP camera flagship in Philippines and Mexico
Huawei introduced its new Pura 90s Pro Max smartphone, highlighting a 200‑megapixel periscope telephoto camera built on a 1/1.28‑inch RYYB sensor. The camera offers 20× optical zoom, up to 100× digital zoom, CIPA 7.0 optical image stabilization and real‑time RAW processing. It is paired with a 50 MP main lens, a 40 MP ultra‑wide sensor and a 13 MP front camera.
The device runs on the Kirin 9030S processor with EMUI 16 (Android 16) and supports 5G, a 6 000 mAh battery, 100 W wired and 80 W wireless fast charging, and Huawei’s Kunlun glass. AI tools such as AI Composition, AI De‑Glare, AI Move and Celia AI assistant are integrated to aid photography.
Launch details: the series will be available in the Philippines on 20 August 2026, with early‑bird pre‑orders, deposit promotions and voucher discounts. In Mexico the phone entered pre‑sale and will also be sold from 20 August. Hong Kong pricing is set at HK$7,988, with limited‑time discount codes. The lineup is offered in several colourways, including the gradient “Orange Ocean” finish.
