Huawei launches FreeBuds Neo wireless earbuds

Huawei has released the FreeBuds Neo, a new series of compact true wireless earbuds designed to balance performance, design, and affordability. Positioned between the FreeBuds Pro and FreeBuds i series, the product targets younger demographics such as students and new employees.

The earbuds feature an average noise cancellation strength of 30dB across all frequency ranges, achieved through a new acoustic architecture, a third-generation proprietary audio chipset, and updated AI algorithms. For calls, the device utilizes three microphones and a VPU bone conduction sensor to maintain clarity in environments with up to 95dB of noise.

Technical specifications include an 11mm Turbo driver unit, Bluetooth 6.0 compliance, and support for LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs. The earbuds support spatial audio with head tracking and multipoint connectivity for up to two devices across iOS, Android, or Windows. Battery life reaches up to 10 hours for a single charge with noise cancellation off, and up to 40 hours when using the charging case.

The FreeBuds Neo are available in silver, white, and black, with each earbud weighing approximately 4.8g.
