Huawei launches HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S earbud flagship

Huawei Japan has officially released the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S, a flagship earbud model featuring an ear-cuff design. The device is available in two colors, Deep Sea Blue and Pearl Silver, with a market price of 32,780 yen.

Following a successful crowdfunding campaign on Makuake that raised over 100 million yen from nearly 4,000 supporters, the new model distinguishes itself through a jewelry-inspired aesthetic. The charging case features a mirror finish and a rounded form, while the earbuds utilize a C-bridge design made of shape-memory alloy and liquid silicone to ensure a secure, comfortable fit without entering the ear canal.

Technical features include 360° spatial audio with head-tracking capabilities, dual diaphragm drivers for enhanced bass, and an integrated NPU for AI processing. The open-ear design aims to allow users to remain aware of their surroundings while listening to audio, utilizing an anti-leakage system to minimize sound escaping.
