Huawei expands wearable lineup with new health-focused smartwatches
Huawei has expanded its wearable ecosystem with several new smartwatch models focusing on health monitoring and connectivity. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 series emphasizes sports and physical readiness, featuring advanced metrics for activities like cycling and skiing, and a Physical Readiness score that integrates sleep, heart rate, and stress data.
For specialized health monitoring, the HUAWEI WATCH D3 utilizes a mechanical air bag in its strap to provide medical-grade blood pressure measurements, including 24-hour ambulatory monitoring. The GT 7 series also includes tools for diabetes risk assessment and ECG capabilities in its Pro version.
The company has also introduced the Watch Kids X1, a child-oriented smartwatch featuring dual cameras, a 360-degree rotating screen, and advanced location tracking via GNSS and Wi-Fi. Additionally, the Watch 6 series offers increased independence from smartphones through eSIM connectivity, allowing for calls and data access directly from the wrist.
