Huawei launches MatePad Mini tablet in Indonesia
Huawei officially introduced its MatePad Mini tablet in Indonesia on 24 June 2026. The 8.8‑inch device is marketed as the thinnest and lightest tablet in its class, measuring 5.2 mm thick and weighing 260 g. It features a Flexible OLED PaperMatte 2.5K panel with up to 1,800 nits brightness, Wi‑Fi 7 connectivity, a 6,400 mAh battery that delivers about 15.5 hours of video playback, and 66 W fast‑charging supported by a 3D heat‑dissipation system.
Productivity highlights include support for the third‑generation Huawei M‑Pencil (over 10,000 pressure levels, 0.8 ms latency) and a magnetic Folio Cover that can act as a stand. The tablet offers split‑screen capability for up to three apps, and comes pre‑installed with apps such as Huawei Notes, WPS Office and GoPaint. Cameras comprise a 50 MP rear sensor and a 32 MP front sensor. Huawei priced the MatePad Mini at Rp 8,999,000 and, during the launch promotion, added bonuses worth up to Rp 4.5 million, including the M‑Pencil and Folio Cover. The device is being sold through Huawei stores, online marketplaces and authorized retail partners across Indonesia.
