Huawei launches new Watch Ultimate 2 Snow White and DESCENTE variants

Huawei has launched two new variants of its Watch Ultimate 2 smartwatch: a Snow White edition and a co-branded model with DESCENTE. The Snow White version features a purple-white bezel and a breathable, hydrophobic nylon woven strap. The DESCENTE collaboration offers a dark grey aesthetic with a ceramic bezel and a specialized nylon woven strap designed for professional sports.

The new editions introduce expanded skiing functionalities, including six specific modes such as outdoor skiing, snowboarding, and a new ski mountaineering mode. The device can track real-time altitude, speed, and distance, and includes advanced turn-type recognition to count short, medium, and long turns.

Technical specifications include a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED color screen with 3500 nits peak brightness and a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. The watch maintains a 150-meter diving capability and features dolphin-inspired sonar communication for underwater messaging. Health monitoring capabilities have also been upgraded to include cardiovascular, respiratory, and endocrine risk screenings, as well as new studies for high uric acid and diabetes risk assessment.
