Huawei launches Nova 15 Max in Philippines, eyes mid‑range Nova SE comeback

Huawei unveiled the Nova 15 Max smartphone in the Philippines, priced at ₱20,888 (₱19,888 promotional) and available from June 11, 2026 through official stores and online platforms. The device features a 6.84‑inch OLED display with 120 Hz refresh, a 50 MP main camera, Kirin 8000 processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, and an 8 500 mAh battery with 40 W fast charging.

Separately, Chinese leaks suggest Huawei is preparing a new Nova SE model, likely to be called the Nova 16 SE, targeting the 2,000–3,000 yuan (≈$280–$420) segment. The phone is expected to offer the Red Maple Original Color Imaging system, four colour options, and a focus on camera performance for younger consumers.

Both announcements indicate Huawei’s effort to strengthen its mid‑range lineup across Asian markets.
