Huawei to launch Pura 90 series globally in Kuala Lumpur on July 14

Huawei announced that its flagship Pura 90 lineup – the standard, Pro and Pro Max models, marketed internationally as the Pura 90s – will be unveiled at a global event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 14 July 2026. The launch will showcase devices built on Kirin 9010S (standard) and Kirin 9030S (Pro models) processors, 6‑ to 6.5‑Ah batteries, 100 W wired and 50‑80 W wireless fast‑charging, and high‑resolution camera systems that include up to a 200 MP periscope sensor. All three phones run HarmonyOS 6.1 and mark Huawei’s return to native 5G connectivity after years of restrictions. The company has not released pricing, but Malaysia is offering early‑bird reservations with rebates of up to RM 400 for the Pro Max model. Promotional material uses the tagline “Now is your Moment.” The event will clarify whether all three variants will be sold overseas and how specifications may differ from the Chinese releases.

The launch is part of Huawei’s broader effort to rebuild its international smartphone presence following U.S. trade bans, with the company also preparing distribution in Latin America and Europe later in the year.
