Huawei Pura 90 Series Passes 1 Million Sales, Boosting Kirin 9030S Profile

Huawei's premium Pura 90 smartphone line has sold about 1.0149 million units by the 29th week of July 2026, according to market observer @RDObservation. The sales milestone highlights the series' rapid market traction within three months of launch.

All Pura 90 models are powered by Huawei's in‑house Kirin 9030S processor, built on a 5 nm node. The devices combine a 50 MP main sensor, a 40 MP ultra‑wide lens and a 200 MP telephoto camera that offers up to 20× lossless zoom, supported by AI‑driven XMAGE imaging software. They feature a 6.9‑inch LTPO OLED screen capable of up to 3000 nits brightness and carry IP68 and IP69 water‑resistance ratings. 5G connectivity is available worldwide, and the global variants add Bluetooth 6.0, Wi‑Fi 7 and NFC.

The strong sales performance coincides with Huawei reporting its highest market‑share share in China in recent quarters, according to Counterpoint Research, and is presented as evidence of the company’s technological independence despite U.S. sanctions.
