Huawei launches Router X2 Pro with book-inspired design

Huawei has officially opened pre-sales for the Huawei Router X2 Pro, a new networking device featuring a unique book-like form factor designed to blend into home environments such as bookshelves. The device is available in three colors: Earth Brown, Oak White, and Stone Gray.

A notable feature of the X2 Pro is its customizable exterior. The router utilizes a magnetic installation system for its shell, allowing users to swap covers to match their interior decor.

Technically, the router supports Wi-Fi 7+ and AI Mesh networking capabilities. This allows multiple units to work together to improve signal coverage, reduce interference, and provide seamless roaming throughout a home. The product launch follows teasers from He Gang, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business, who highlighted the device's unconventional design.
