Huawei launches ultra-thin MatePad Pro flagship tablets

Huawei has launched its new flagship MatePad Pro series, featuring high-end models including the MatePad Pro Max and a 12-inch version. The devices emphasize an ultra-thin design, with the MatePad Pro Max measuring just 4.7 mm in thickness and weighing 509 grams in its PaperMatte Edition.

The hardware specifications include 3K resolution Flexible OLED displays. The 12-inch model utilizes a Cloud-Swift architecture and an all-metal process to achieve a weight of 439 grams. It is powered by a Kirin T93 chip and runs on HarmonyOS, which offers a dual-desktop capability allowing users to switch between a touch-based entertainment interface and a PC-level professional office interface via a four-finger swipe.

To support professional workflows, the tablets include features such as a 10,400mAh battery, 40W reverse fast charging, and specialized software support for music composition, digital art, and note-taking. The PaperMatte technology uses nano-scale etching to reduce reflections and improve visibility in various lighting conditions.
