Huawei launches ultra‑thin 13‑inch MatePad Pro Max tablet in Spain
Huawei introduced the MatePad Pro Max in Spain, marketing it as the thinnest 13‑inch tablet on the market. The device measures just 4.7 mm in thickness and weighs 509 g. It features a 13.2‑inch flexible OLED "PaperMatte" panel with a 3K resolution, a 94 % screen‑to‑body ratio and no notch. Huawei claims the new Cloud Falcon Architecture gives the tablet 60 % greater flex‑resistance than its 2025 predecessor, while delivering 20 % more overall performance and 30 % better heat dissipation.
Audio is supplied by six speakers with crossover and a four‑driver subwoofer. Power comes from a 9,760 mAh battery that Huawei says provides up to 13.6 hours of video playback. The rear camera is a 50 MP sensor with the company's True‑to‑Color colour system. The launch package includes the M‑Pencil Pro stylus, a Huawei Glide Keyboard, and software tools such as Live Multitask, GoPaint and Huawei Notes. The tablet is priced at €1,299, with a promotional discount of €100 bringing the price to €1,199 for purchases made before 31 July. Availability began on 8 July through the official Huawei online store.
