Huawei launches Watch 6 series with advanced health tracking

Huawei has released the Watch 6 series, including the Watch 6 Pro Space Edition, featuring advanced health tracking and connectivity. The devices utilize Multi-Sensing X-TAP technology, allowing users to assess 11 health indicators, such as heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), ECG, and heart rate variability (HRV), within approximately one minute.

Key features include integrated eSIM support for independent LTE connectivity, Curve Pay for contactless payments, and Safety Check for location sharing. The hardware offers high-quality materials, an AMOLED display, and long battery life. While the Watch 6 Pro is capable of diving up to 40 meters, reviews note limitations in the HarmonyOS 7 app ecosystem, particularly regarding third-party applications like WhatsApp during standalone LTE use.
