Huawei launches WATCH 6 smartwatch series

Huawei has introduced the WATCH 6 series, a new lineup of smartwatches designed to reduce smartphone dependency through features like eSIM connectivity for independent calling and Curve Pay for contactless payments. The series includes standard models and premium Pro versions.

The standard WATCH 6 is available in 42mm and 46mm sizes. The 42mm model weighs approximately 38 grams with a thickness of 10.2mm, while the 46mm version features a stainless steel case. Both utilize the Arcglow Design and EasyCross strap system for a streamlined appearance.

The WATCH 6 Pro focuses on premium materials, offering a 46mm model with titanium alloy cases and a 43mm Ceramic Edition, which is the first fully ceramic model in the Huawei Watch family. These Pro models feature sapphire glass displays with peak brightness levels reaching up to 3500 nits to ensure readability in bright sunlight. Additional features include gesture controls and a Safety Check function for sharing status information with contacts.
