Huawei launches WATCH GT 7 smartwatch series on August 5

Huawei announced that its new WATCH GT 7 smartwatch series will be unveiled on August 5 at the company’s flagship product event. Posters featuring global sports‑health ambassador Wu Lei appeared on large screens in major Chinese cities with the slogan “此刻就出发” (this moment, set off). The GT 7 line continues the brand’s focus on ultra‑long battery life, using a high‑density silicon‑stacked battery, and introduces refreshed designs with sharper case lines and new colour options.

The series is positioned as a “super‑long‑run, stylish and capable” device, expected to add advanced sport‑tracking features for outdoor activities and enhanced health monitoring through Huawei’s latest Xuanji sensing system. The launch follows the earlier WATCH GT 6 models, which already support features such as AI sport analysis, fall detection and Bluetooth connectivity with cycling accessories.
