Huawei maintains global wearable market leadership
Huawei has maintained its leading position in the global wrist-worn wearable market, securing over 20 percent market share in the first half of 2026 according to IDC data. The company has held the top spot in the Chinese market since 2021 and has frequently led the global market since 2024.
To sustain this momentum, Huawei is launching a new generation of devices this autumn. The upcoming lineup includes the Huawei Watch GT 7 Series, designed for outdoor activities and winter sports; the Huawei Watch D3, which focuses on health monitoring such as blood pressure; the Huawei Watch Kids X1 for children; and the Huawei FreeBuds Neo.
This expansion follows a diverse product portfolio that includes the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, developed in collaboration with Eliud Kipchoge's team, and the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series, which features mini-workout routines for daily use.
