Huawei marks 25 years of digital innovation and training in Spain
Huawei marks 25 years of operations in Spain, emphasizing its corporate social responsibility through digital education and talent development initiatives.
The Huawei Spain Academy serves as a central pillar of these efforts, offering over 3,000 courses and programs. The academy, which has the support of more than 20 Spanish universities and higher education centers, trained 10,000 individuals during its first year of activity in 2025. The company has set a long-term goal to train 50,000 people over a five-year period.
Additional educational efforts include partnerships with the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (COIT) and Eurofirms Group to provide specialized ICT training and certifications. Furthermore, the 'El Futuro de las TIC' scholarship program, active since 2012, has trained more than 200 young people in fields such as artificial intelligence, networking, and programming.
