Honor and Huawei prepare new smartphone flagship launches

Honor is preparing to launch the X9e Pro in Malaysia on September 24, 2026. The device is expected to feature a massive 11,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging and 27W reverse charging. Designed for durability, the phone is rumored to have IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance, alongside enhanced drop protection. Available colors include Dawn Gold, Midnight Black, Reddish Brown, and Royal Purple, with a 108MP main camera reported.

Simultaneously, leaks regarding the Huawei Mate 90 series suggest a high-end hardware lineup. The Mate 90 Pro is expected to utilize the Kirin 9035 processor, while the flagship Mate 90 Pro Max may feature the exclusive Kirin 9050 Pro chip. Display upgrades are also anticipated, including dual-layer OLED technology and third-generation Kunlun Glass for improved durability. The Pro Max model may also support external telephoto lenses for enhanced long-distance photography.
