Huawei launches ultra-thin MatePad Pro Max tablet and MatePad SE 11 in Brazil

Huawei unveiled the MatePad Pro Max, billed as the world’s thinnest tablet at 4.7 mm. The 13.2‑inch flexible OLED display offers 3K resolution, 144 Hz refresh and 1 600 nit peak brightness. It runs on the Kirin T93 Pro processor with HarmonyOS 4.3 and features six speakers, a 50 MP rear camera and a 9 760 mAh battery. The device received TÜV Rheinland’s Ultra‑thin Bending Resistance certification, indicating improved structural stiffness.

In Brazil, Huawei announced the MatePad SE 11, an 11‑inch FullView FHD+ tablet that is 6.9 mm thin and weighs 475 g. It includes four Harman‑Kardon‑tuned speakers, up to 10 hours of video playback, a 21‑day standby time and supports the Huawei M‑Pen Lite. The launch price is R$1 289, discounted from the suggested R$1 599.

Huawei also previewed its nova 16 smartphone line, powered by the new Kirin 9010S chipset, and hinted at a Mate 90 series that may use an external teleconverter to boost optical zoom, representing a continued focus on high‑performance camera technology.
