Huawei Pura 90 Plus revealed with Kirin 9025 chipset
Huawei has officially confirmed the Pura 90 Plus and opened pre-orders in China ahead of its scheduled launch on October 28, 2026. Although full official specifications have not been released, retail display units in Chinese stores have revealed key hardware details through leaked images of the device’s system settings.
The smartphone is set to debut the new Kirin 9025 chipset, which is reportedly an overclocked version of the Kirin 9020. Industry tipsters suggest this new processor could provide a 19% performance increase over the Pura 80 Pro and may perform similarly to the Kirin 9030S used in the Pura 90 Pro and Pro Max models.
Other leaked and confirmed specifications include 12GB of RAM, HarmonyOS 7, and a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to feature a 50MP 1-inch type RYYB main camera with a variable aperture. Storage options are expected to range from 256GB to 1TB, with color variants including Dawn Gold, Obsidian Black, Sunset Purple, and Snowy White.
