Huawei Pura 90 series reaches 1.28 million shipments
Huawei has seen significant market traction with its Pura 90 series, reaching shipment volumes of approximately 1.28 million units as of the 34th week of 2026. The series, which includes the Pura 90, Pura 90 Pro, and Pura 90 Pro Max, runs on HarmonyOS 6.1 and features a flat-screen design.
A primary focus of the series is its upgraded imaging technology, utilizing the second-generation Red Maple Original Color imaging technology and the XMAGE intelligent photography system. The flagship Pura 90 Pro Max distinguishes itself with a 200MP telephoto sensor (1/1.28-inch) supporting 4x optical zoom and up to 20x video zoom, designed for high-detail long-distance photography.
The Pro Max also features a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR main camera with LOFIC technology and an adaptive aperture ranging from F1.4 to F4.0 to manage high-contrast lighting. While the Pro Max offers the highest-tier camera specifications, the standard Pura 90 and Pura 90 Pro provide varying levels of telephoto and wide-angle capabilities to maintain a clear product hierarchy.
