Huawei rolls out HarmonyOS desktop PC and unveils HarmonyOS 7 with AI upgrades
Huawei said it will launch its first desktop computer running HarmonyOS. The all‑in‑one device, aimed at office and small‑business users, is expected to ship from 19 May in selected markets and will offer a mouse‑ and keyboard‑optimized interface while maintaining deep integration with Huawei smartphones, tablets and laptops.
At the same developer conference the company introduced HarmonyOS 7. The update adds a glass‑like visual style, more 3D elements and a faster UI that runs about 15 % quicker than HarmonyOS 6.1. It also brings the Intelligent Agent Framework 2.0, enabling “Agentic AI” that can carry out user requests autonomously with over 90 % success, and new AI‑assisted text and image generation tools.
