Huawei unveils strategic roadmap for Agentic AI and Intelligent World 2035

Huawei has released several strategic research reports and technological solutions focused on the transition to an intelligent economy and the rise of Agentic AI. In its ‘Intelligent World 2035: From Vision to Action’ report, the company outlines ten key directions for the industry, including the development of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), advanced computing clusters, and intelligent connectivity. The report predicts that by 2035, global annual token consumption will increase 100,000-fold, driven by AI agents.

At the GSMA M360 ASEAN 2026 event, Huawei emphasized the role of AI in redefining wireless networks and supporting the ASEAN region's digital economy. The company was recognized with the ‘Excellence in Innovation Video Award’ for its collaboration with XLSMART Indonesia on a 5G SD-WAN solution for small and medium enterprises. Additionally, Huawei and GSMA Intelligence released a report on the ‘AI and the token economy,’ exploring how telecommunications operators can capture value in the emerging AI landscape.

Addressing infrastructure challenges, Huawei also unveiled a grid-interactive AI data center (AIDC) solution designed to maximize ‘tokens per watt.’ This solution aims to manage the high-density power and cooling requirements of large-scale AI deployments while maintaining stability within evolving power grids.
