Huawei unveils global MatePad Pro 12 (2026) tablet

Huawei has officially unveiled the global version of the MatePad Pro 12 (2026), featuring an ultra-thin 4.7 mm design and a weight of 454 grams. The device is equipped with a 12-inch OLED display offering a 3036 × 1952 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. A PaperMatte Display edition is also available, utilizing nano-level anti-glare etching to simulate the feel of paper.

Powered by the in-house Kirin T93 processor and 12GB of RAM, the tablet runs on HarmonyOS 4.3. Storage options include 256GB or 512GB. The device supports 66W wired SuperCharge. Battery capacities vary by region: the European Union variant features a 9,760mAh battery, while other international markets will receive a larger 10,400mAh cell.

Professional accessories include the M-Pencil Pro stylus and the magnetic Glide Keyboard cover. The tablet is constructed from aviation magnesium alloy and is available in Blue and Space Gray finishes. Specific regional pricing and release dates for European and Southeast Asian markets are expected to be announced soon.
