Huawei unveils new MatePad Pro 12 and MatePad Air tablets

Huawei has introduced new additions to its tablet lineup, including the MatePad Pro 12 and the MatePad Air, both designed to bridge the gap between mobile devices and personal computers.

The MatePad Pro 12 features an ultra-slim design with a thickness of 4.7 mm and a weight of 454 g. It is equipped with a 12-inch PaperMatte OLED Flexible 3K display that offers a 144 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. The device includes improved structural resistance and anti-reflective technology that is 30% more effective than previous models.

The MatePad Air is positioned as a lightweight productivity tool, weighing 509 g with a thickness of 5.3 mm. It utilizes an OLED PaperMatte screen and integrates artificial intelligence through features like WPS AI. This AI functionality assists with document drafting, summarizing large PDFs, and automatically generating presentation slides from key data points.
