Huawei unveils AI infrastructure and networking solutions at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026
At the HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 event in Shanghai, Huawei unveiled a comprehensive suite of technologies designed to support the emerging 'agentic AI' era. The company's strategy focuses on building a robust silicon and infrastructure foundation to manage the rapid increase in AI token consumption.
Key hardware and software announcements include the OceanStor M900 Context Memory Storage, designed to accelerate AI inference in hyperscale data centers by providing PB-scale capacity. To address networking challenges, Huawei introduced the Stellar AI Network, featuring the SF9300 series UBG switches and CloudEngine XH9300-EN NPO switches to optimize connectivity and reduce power consumption. The company also debuted the UnifiedBus architecture, which aims to facilitate large-scale AI clusters by connecting up to one million NPUs.
In the cloud sector, Huawei Cloud launched the AI Cluster Service (AICS) and the 'Next' hybrid cloud architecture to support agentic workflows.
