Huawei unveils Stellar AI Fabric and Intelligent WAN solutions

At the HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 event in Shanghai, Huawei introduced new strategies and technologies aimed at building intelligent connectivity foundations for the AI era. The company released an Intelligent WAN white paper to address the challenges of expanding coverage and enabling agile AI deployment, noting that legacy networks struggle with the massive, real-time data flows required by AI workloads.

Huawei also unveiled its upgraded Stellar AI Fabric solution, designed to transform traditional data centers into computing factories. This solution integrates Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0, StarryWing Digital Map 2.0, and Hyper-Converged Fabric to optimize token throughput and computing output. To support high-density computing, the company launched two new switch series: the CloudEngine SF9300, which aims to reduce deployment costs by 30%, and the CloudEngine XH9300, which features a proprietary optical engine to lower interconnect power consumption by 40%.

Additionally, Huawei and 17 partners, including the Beijing FinTech Industry Alliance, released a technical specification for network high availability in financial data centers. In the scientific sector, the Institute of High Energy Physics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences reported that deploying the Stellar AI Fabric improved computing efficiency by more than 10% for deep space signal analysis.
