Huawei unveils Watch 6 and Watch 6 Pro smartwatches

Huawei has announced the launch of its new Huawei Watch 6 and Watch 6 Pro smartwatches in Munich. The new series succeeds the Watch 5 and is available in two sizes: 42 mm and 46 mm for the standard model, and 43 mm for the Pro version.

The Watch 6 Pro features premium titanium or ceramic bodies, while the standard model utilizes aluminum or stainless steel. Both versions include a circular LTPO OLED display protected by sapphire glass, offering brightness levels up to 3,500 nits. A significant technical upgrade is the X-Tap sensor, which has increased from four channels to twelve, allowing the device to measure 14 different health indicators upon finger contact.

Additional features include support for over 100 sports modes, an Expedition function with map displays, eSIM support, and a more powerful processor. Battery life ranges from 3 days to 4.5 days under typical usage, extending up to 11 days in power-saving mode.
