Huawei Watch D3 features mechanical blood pressure monitoring

The Huawei Watch D3 has been released, featuring a specialized approach to health monitoring. Unlike many competitors that estimate blood pressure through pulse waves, the Watch D3 utilizes a mechanical air cushion integrated into the strap. This system uses a tiny piezoelectric micropump to inflate the band, following the same oscillometric principle used by traditional upper-arm blood pressure monitors.

Available since September 15, 2026, for 449 euros, the third-generation device offers a slimmer housing and a larger 1.92-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Additional features include improved measurement accuracy and fall detection. The package includes multiple strap sizes and a wireless charger.
