Hub Norte Prize recognizes sustainable ventures in Peru

The seventh edition of the Hub Norte Prize has concluded, recognizing social and environmental ventures that contribute to sustainable development in northeastern Peru. The initiative received over 70 applications from regions including La Libertad, Lambayeque, Piura, Tumbes, San Martín, Cajamarca, and Amazonas.

In the general category, the winners were Agroclub from La Libertad, and Biopacha Smart and Bosques Interandinos from Cajamarca, each receiving S/ 10,000. Bosques Interandinos also secured the rural category win, earning S/ 5,000, a laptop, technical support, legal advice, and networking opportunities.

The prize is driven by Compañía Minera Poderosa, Asociación Pataz, and Kunan, in partnership with CREEAS La Libertad, Grupo FG, and Estudio Benites, Vargas & Ugaz Abogados. The event aimed to strengthen the regional entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem through collaborative economic growth and social impact.
