HubSpot boosts AI platform via Warmly acquisition as Q1 revenue climbs

HubSpot reported first‑quarter 2026 revenue of $881 million, a 23% year‑over‑year increase, with 98% coming from subscription fees. The customer base rose to 299,458, up 16%, and average subscription revenue per customer climbed 6% to $11,722, signaling deeper product adoption and a shift toward a platform business model.

The company also announced the acquisition of AI sales startup Warmly. The deal is intended to embed Warmly’s intent‑detection and automated prospect‑engagement technology into HubSpot’s CRM, addressing what executives described as the “biggest blind spot” in sales automation. The acquisition expands HubSpot’s AI‑driven customer platform and is expected to increase automation, improve sales productivity, and strengthen its competitive position in the AI‑enabled software market.
