HUBTEC expands technology portfolio and GROW program

The technology transfer hub HUBTEC has expanded its portfolio in 2026 by incorporating five new projects into its GROW program. This initiative is designed to support early-stage teams in converting research and development (R&D) results into technological solutions for industry and society.

During its Impact Week 2026, held from September 1 to 4, the organization facilitated networking and collaboration between the GROW generation and the science and innovation ecosystem. HUBTEC has also strengthened ties with the private and public sectors through various open innovation challenges.

Key industrial collaborations include the ‘Ingredientes del mañana’ challenge with Carozzi and the ‘Explora IV’ call with Agrosuper, which saw international participation from Spain, Colombia, the United States, and Panama. In the public sector, HUBTEC partnered with the Municipality of Providencia to add ‘Reciclanza’—a domestic recycling traceability platform—to its portfolio.
