HUD Thu Duc social housing project to accept applications in late 2026

The HUD Thu Duc social housing project in Ho Chi Minh City is expected to begin accepting applications in the fourth quarter of 2026. Developed by the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation (HUD), the project is located in Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc.

The development covers a total area of 13,707 square meters and consists of 209 apartments across a seven-story building. The units are divided into 164 apartments of approximately 69.5 square meters and 45 apartments of approximately 53.5 square meters. The building includes two base floors for commercial and public services, with a five-story tower containing three residential blocks.

The estimated selling price is currently set at 30.7 million VND per square meter, including VAT but excluding a 2% maintenance fee. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction noted that this is a provisional price subject to official appraisal and approval by authorities. The project, which broke ground on August 19, 2025, is scheduled for full completion and use by the third quarter of 2027.
