Huddersfield Giants secure key wins in rugby league action

In recent rugby league action, the Huddersfield Giants secured two significant victories. They moved off the bottom of the Super League table following a 26-10 win against Toulouse Olympique. Coach Jim Lenihan credited the win to a simplified game plan and strong defensive efforts, despite the team playing with twelve men for twenty minutes due to yellow cards.

In another dominant performance, the Giants defeated the Leigh Leopards 34-0. Fullback Amelia Brown starred on her return from an ankle injury, scoring four tries, including a long-range effort from inside her own half.

In a closely contested match, the Sheffield Eagles narrowly defeated Hunslet 28-26. Hunslet’s Aiden Doolan scored two tries and provided a late surge, but a missed conversion in the final minutes prevented the visitors from securing a point.
