Hudson O’Neal wins dirt late model race in Mason City

Hudson O’Neal secured his second series win of the season and the eighth of his career at the Mason City Motor Speedway during the FloRacing Night in America event. O’Neal won the 50-lap feature by 0.361 seconds after a competitive battle for the lead.

Nick Hoffman, who led for a significant portion of the race, finished in second place, narrowly beaten by O’Neal. Bobby Pierce secured third position following a late-race charge. The race was marked by several key moments, including a lap-21 restart that allowed O’Neal to reclaim the top spot and a late-race battle between Hoffman and Pierce for the runner-up position.

Following the finish, Nick Hoffman made contact with Jake Timm, whose vehicle had slowed due to mechanical issues. While both drivers were uninjured, the collision resulted in significant damage to both race cars.
