Hudson Valley dining scene sees new openings and closures

The Hudson Valley dining scene is experiencing several notable changes, including new openings and closures in the Kingston and Wappingers Falls areas.

In Kingston, YoYo Chicken recently celebrated its grand opening on October 16, 2026, at 1304 Ulster Ave. The new eatery offers chicken sandwiches, burgers, wings, and mac bowls. Its sister location, SoHo Eatery HV, also serves the community as a deli and espresso bar.

Conversely, Lone Wolf Cocktail Bar in Kingston’s Midtown Arts District has announced it will permanently close on November 15. Owners Anton Kinloch and Lisa Dy cited the logistical and financial strain of operating a full-service restaurant as the reason for the decision.

In Wappingers Falls, Panda House has officially opened at 1571 US-9, occupying the former location of Mexicali Blue. Panda House offers classic Chinese cuisine and a daily lunch buffet, following the closure of Mexicali Blue due to rent-related challenges in July.
