Hudson Valley weather forecast predicted to be the “nicest of the year”
Meteorologist Ben Noll has described the upcoming weather for the Hudson Valley as the “nicest forecast of the year.” After an unseasonably warm start to October, a cold front is expected to bring brisk winds and an air mass from Canada.
If no rain occurs by Sunday, October 11, 2026, the region will experience a 13-day dry streak, marking the longest such period since September 2025. Temperatures are projected to drop into the 30s by October 6 and 7, representing the first time since May that such lows will be reached. Noll advised residents to enjoy the sunshine and dry conditions before a potential shift toward stormier weather in November.
